Stage star Edna Goodrich had a brief motion picture career in the mid- to late 1910s. Not long after this drama came out, she left films and returned to the theater. Richard Page (David Powell) is secretary to David Davenport, president of the Davenport Construction Company. Davenport convinces Page to endorse some notes to tidy up some financial matters. Unfortunately, everything comes crashing down and both Davenport and Page face ruin. Page's wife, Nancy (Goodrich), finds out what is troubling her husband, and he confesses that unless the plans he has can be sold to the Japanese government, he will wind up in jail. Tato Usaki, the Japanese agent (Thomas Tommammato), has been flirting with Nancy, so she decides to use her feminine wiles to close the deal. She manages to sell the plans for an amount that covers Page's obligations, but Usaki wants her favors as a bonus. Fortunately, Page walks in just in time to save Nancy's honor.
