Based on an ancient Persian legend, Homi Master directs this adventure film, reworked from his early 1928 film of the same name. After abducting Sanobar (Ghulam Mohammed), the prince of Yemen, Mubarak (Abdul Kader) raises the child as his own in the forest. After he grows into a young man, Mubarak convinces Sanobar to kill the king, his own father. The youth, however, is captured and condemned to be locked in a box that will be thrown into the sea. At the same time, a mystic is teaching the King to listen to what the animals have to say with the caveat that he tell no one of his new skills. The king learns that the condemned would-be assassin is in fact his son. Unfortunately, he tells his wife about his unusual talent, and is promptly rendered paralyzed.
