The title character in this lively three-reeler is a handsome poacher, who while going about his livelihood kills the royal gamekeeper. Now a fugitive with a price on his head, Lupo takes refuge in the home of a Baroness who earlier had fallen in love with him. By and by, a lynch mob arrives, demanding the lives of both Lupo and the Baroness. They finally agree to set the woman free on the condition that Lupo commit suicide -- which he does without hesitation . What all this had to do with the "blackhands" was never made clear, a fact that sorely annoyed the reviewer for Variety.
