Living only to the age of 31, Seurat was an innovator whose works made a great impact on the painters of the post-Impressionist period. This documentary looks at some of his best-loved works, including A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of Grande Jatte. Interviews with artists Henry Moore and Bridget Riley provide insight into the subtleties of the artistry of Seurat.
