The Foxy Hoboes in this brief comedy spend a few early scenes cadging handouts from passersby. One of the tramps, a self-styled Romeo, tries to make time with a lovely young miss in Central Park. His flirtations come to a sudden end when the girl's boyfriend shows up. The rest of the film was devoted to the efforts by the hoboes to elude the enraged, jealous man. Running a scant 200 feet (approximately five minutes' running time), Foxy Hoboes was originally released as part of a "split reel" with the nostalgic 415-footer When We Were Boys.
