This Lubin comedy would be worth seeing again if only to catch a few glimpses of a long-defunct Philadelphia amusement park. Having both been thrown out of their apartments for nonpayment of rent, the hero and heroine vow independently to seek out wealthy spouses. To expedite this, the boy poses as a millionaire, while the girl pretends to be an heiress. Meeting one another at the aforementioned amusement park, the boy and girl fall for each other's masquerade. In the end, the hero discovers that the heroine is a lowly waitress, while she learns that he is a humble ribbon clerk -- and, surprisingly, they don't fall in love with each other all the same.
