May Allison plays Nancy Brown, a spoiled maiden who apparently thinks the men in her life have an endless supply of money. First off, she convinces her father (William Courtwright) that she should have an elaborate wedding with half a dozen bridesmaids, flower girls and all the other trappings. Then, after her marriage to Richard Vane (Robert Edeson), she wants to be a mover and shaker in society and she cajoles him into buying her loads of fancy clothes. She also thinks they should have a big home, but this is beyond Vane's means. In his desperation to please his wife, he forges his father's name on a check. This finally wakes Nancy up to her willful extravagance and she changes her ways. This picture was based on a story, "More Stately Mansions," which appeared in Good Housekeeping.
