A robot looks for love in this animated short subject from director Martin Quaden. Eva is a mechanical contraption living in a tiny shed on the outskirts of town. Eva keeps herself busy changing her batteries and tending her garden, but at nights she becomes lonely and longs for companionship. One day, she wanders into town while chasing a battery and falls head over heels for a street light. While Eva is convinced there's magic between them, convincing the light is another matter altogether. Created between 2001 and 2003 using stop-motion animation, Eva was screened in competition at the 2007 Slamdance Film Festival.
