Amal, a Palestinian woman from Emwas, hears the stories of her home town that was razed by the Israeli army in 1967. In order for her to be able to make peace with herself, and the reality around her, she needs to understand what exactly happened in 1967, why, and what's the future of herself, her family, and her fellow Emwasi villagers. Amal decides to make a model of the village before it was demolished, from the memories of the people who lived there, and the only ones who still do, the monks of the Latrun Monastery, and display it in Emwas.
