In the tradition of the studio's earlier Charlie and Kitty in Brussels, Pathe's Dutch Kids peps up an ordinary travelogue with "child appeal." Against an attractive, appealing, and utterly authentic Dutch background, two precocious kids get into all sorts of mischief. Their antics are counterpointed with the day-to-day behavior of "genuine" Dutch children. Be assured that the film was filled to overflowing with tulips, windmills, dikes, and wooden shoes. Though nothing special, Dutch Kids still proved entertaining to those who'd never been to Holland.
