Recalling Paul Morrissey's Trash, this film by Leona Hirota is a free-formed look at Japan's drug-addled bohemian set. At the film's outset, Leona (Hirota) lives with her lover, Fukki (Mitsuru Fukikoshi), and young son, Mark, along with five close friends. Shinken (Shinken) is a hunky male model and Chiru (Chiharu Sasaki) is his spacey girlfriend. Also, there are a trio of constantly sniping drag queens named Die-co, Margerette, and Hossy. With the exception of the wee lad Mark, the group pops pills and snorts powders like there is no tomorrow. At one point, Leona learns that she's pregnant and debates whether or not to go to Paris on a film shoot, or rest up and get on the wagon. Chiru gets canned from a modeling gig after an all-night coke bender. Bummed out, she overdoses on heroin.
