This British docudrama was assembled by Jack Lee, the editor/producer largely responsible for the classic wartime film London Can Take It. Combining "actuality" footage with reenacted scenes, Lee details the encroaching problem of postwar juvenile delinquency. The film concentrates on the cities of Liverpool and Birmingham, with real-life schoolkids portraying the "problem" children. John Vardy, headmaster of Liverpool Farm School, and juvenile court chairman Basil Henriques likewise play themselves. The only professional actor in the film is Julia Lang, cast as a tough but ultimately redeemable delinquent.
