While on his way to a party, Peter Drake (Franklyn Farnum) meets pretty Jackie Swazey (Brownie Vernon). Jackie's mother, it turns out, is a militant suffragette who is running for office on a Prohibition ticket. In order to please the forceful and suspicious Mrs. Swazey, Peter helps out with her campaign parade. He is also put in charge of Pa Swazey (Arthur Hoyt), with the order to "reform" him. But the two men wind up going to a bar and getting drunk instead, and Peter winds up in jail. He's released through the connections of Mike Clancey (Richard LeReno), Mrs. Swazey's political opponent. There's one condition, however -- he must get Mrs. Swazey out of the race. This he does by spiking the punch at a Prohibition gathering and getting Mrs. Swazey soused. She's disgraced in front of her supporters, and Peter and Jackie run off and elope before she sobers up. Though light on plot, this was a pleasantly amusing comedy.
