In yet another of his many streamlined silent Westerns, Buffalo Bill, Jr. (aka Jay Wilsey) played a lovesick rancher who decides to spruce up his image in order to attract the attentions of a girl (Jean Arthur). His plans go awry, however, upon learning that an outlaw gang intends to frame him in a stagecoach hold-up. Still a brunette and not much different from a host of other starlets, Jean Arthur was a regular in this kind of low-budget Western fare until she landed a contract with Paramount in 1928.
