This Pathe trick film was almost as short as its title. A toymaker who specializes in baby dolls falls asleep in his shop. As he snoozes away, he dreams that his dolls have come to life. The little wooden urchins perform a "vaudeville show" for the toymaker's benefit, complete with a corps de ballet and a team of acrobats. The film's charm was enhanced by its color tinting, accomplished by a talented team of Pathe artists. Blessington's Bonnie Babies was originally released as a companion feature to the same studio's Romance of a Poor Girl.
