Minor (in every sense of the word) cowboy star Bill Patton played the title role in this low-budget silent oater produced by Morris R. Schlank's Anchor Production for release by Rayart. Bearing a rather unfortunate resemblance to comedy star Larry Semon, Patton usually played some kind of lawman masquerading as a dude in order to infiltrate a gang of outlaws. The various disguises invariably allowed Patton to play "cute." In this outing, he saves pretty Peggy O'Day from a fate worse than death in the hands of the flat-nosed Lew Meehan. The Patton Westerns were distributed in the hinterlands only.
