This Vitagraph quickie was originally released on the same reel as the company's Brother Man. Shot on-location at the Polo Grounds in New York, the film records a fundraising benefit staged by several of the top vaudeville artists of the time. Among the luminaries depicted herein are legendary African-American comedian Bert Williams, who performs a "double act" with British music hall clown Billie Reeves. In addition to performing their usual specialties, the stars of the benefit also indulge in such down-home pleasures as a pie-eating contest and a "greased pig" chase. Of special interest to the men in the audience was a foot race staged by a group of comely chorus girls.
