The title tells all in this "scenic" from the London-based Eclipse firm. The Rhine river was a favorite subject of early filmmakers because of the variety of views and the colorful villages along the way. The uncredited photographer did a nice job throughout capturing the natural and man-made beauties of the region. One suspects that the audience left the theater thoroughly relaxed, as if they'd just experienced a real-life boat excursion. A Trip Along the Rhine was released in tandem with another Eclipse effort, A Country Schoolmaster.
