The American government's decision to move Japanese-Americans into internment camps during World War II wreaked havoc in many families' lives. This film focuses on those forced to live on Terminal Island, far removed from the schools, businesses, extended families, and friends they knew back home. The program is narrated by a Japanese-American man who recalls how his own family was devastated by this unconscionable act. This program is intended for children in grades seven and up.
