A Hunter Called Memory is an experimental depiction of an ancient hunter who returns to the modern world and moves rhythmically through the urban landscapes of Toronto. Memory symbolizes aboriginal peoples’ cultural and instinctive need to survive. Hopi prophecy foretold that there would be roads in the sky and people would communicate through spiderwebs. If the Hopi vanished, water would swallow the Earth, and all the people would perish.
