When rich widower Wilfred Morgan (Joseph Burke) visits Atlantic City with his daughter June (Paula Shay) and her husband, John Lansing (Jack J. Clarke), he is duped by a clairvoyant, Maxine (Chystine Mayo). Maxine "sees" him marrying for a second time and then makes sure it happens by using her wiles on him. They are quickly wed, and June immediately hates her. The two women argue and Morgan sides with his wife. June and John are cast from her father's home and forced to live in poverty. Maxine, meanwhile, is seeing Rufus Stone (James Cooley) behind her husband's back. Ultimately Morgan finds them together and realizes how foolish he's been. He summarily tosses his wife out and gladly welcomes his daughter and son-in-law back home. This a typical domestic drama, tinged with sex, from producer Irving Abramson.
