This was one of many Snub Pollard comedies that was made by a talented director named Charles Parrott, who later became known as Charley Chase when he began to star in his own films for producer Hal Roach. This picture was Pollard's first two-reeler -- prior to that, his starring films had all been one-reel. Pollard's co-star is the lively Marie Mosquini. The story centers around a wealthy old man who is tired of all the quarrels amongst his relatives and attempts to create a reconciliation. He promises them his money if they all agree to build homes on the same lot -- and if they can manage to live in peace for a year. Since there is not enough room on the plot of land for another house, one family hitches their home to a balloon, which floats over the others. Naturally, the relatives down below are frequently pelted with items that fall overboard. In spite of all the trouble this causes, there manages to be enough harmony for the old man to give away his money. But when he starts to divide it up, all his relatives -- except for one -- accuse him of being an impostor. The one who stays out of the dispute wins the old man's fortune.
