    Front-End Developer

    We are looking for front-end developers to help us revolutionize the movie industry. The ideal candidate enjoys the rewarding outcome of hard work. He or she has a balance of experience and ambition to learn what's required to get the job done. This position touches primarily the front end web stack, delivering a responsive elegant front end for desktop web and mobile. For the well rounded coder, there will be many opportunities to touch the back end code. You should have an eye for detail, and take pride in making every pixel count.


    Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll have the opportunity to participate in all phases of the product life-cycle: from brainstorming on product features, all the way to the finest implementation detail. It goes without saying that you can effectively communicate in all modes (orally, in email, or in a Basecamp comment). We don't want our product to be great, we want it to be amazing! And, of course, a love of movies is a plus.

    Junior Digital Designer

    GoWatchIt is growing by leaps and bounds! In addition to our website, we also support a mobile web version of the site, a mobile app, a browser bookmarklet and a widget, which resides on partner websites. We are looking for someone to help with the ongoing design of new features as well as support the design needs of our product across all modalities. This is an opportunity to have a real effect on a growing brand and product.


    This position would:

  • Work closely with a Senior UX Designer to design new features from wireframes.
  • Help maintain visual continuity across the site and all modalities
  • Handle day-to-day design requests, such as the creation of banner ads, supplying assets to developers and providing design support to some of our partners
  • Develop an in-house style guide for our developers to reference

    Business Development Associate

    We are in need of a Business Development Associate to help take the site to new levels. The Business Development Associate will work closely with the CEO in managing current business development relationships, as well as acquiring new partnerships and clients. Candidates will help conduct outreach for GoWatchIt to find new partners for our third-party widget. We are also looking to directly engage with film marketing executives and filmmakers to introduce GoWatchIt as a marketing platform. Many of the film studios big and small are ramping up their digital marketing plans and we want to make sure GoWatchIt is part of their considerations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for film, the Internet, and social media. He/she will have a ''hunter'' mentality and be a team player with a desire to be part of the next big thing.


    Core Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain existing and new business relationships
  • Ongoing contact and providing client support
  • Coordinate meetings and schedules with CEO

    Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ideally, 2+ years of related work experience (post-educational) in the film industry, or related media industry
  • Strong communication, writing skills, and business knowledge
  • Strong social media skills with knowledge of using Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other networks to connect with clients
  • Sales driven and detail-, deadline-, and goal-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Communications, Business, or Film degree; or similar work and education experience

    e-Commerce & Data Analytics Manager

    GoWatchIt is a data-driven company and the e-Commerce Data Analytics Manager plays an integral role in helping us understand the performance of our main site and partner widget. Candidates will be working alongside the engineering and marketing teams, helping to define key metrics and provide client tracking reports using our own reporting tools as well as Google Analytics. This position provides significant strategic value to our team, partners and clients. It requires not only quantitative data analysis skills, but also a true passion for data and the relevant information that it can provide. A passion for film is also a plus!


    Core Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain existing and new affiliate relationships with content providers.
  • Defining key metrics to track.
  • Integrate and analyze data from all forms of digital media, including organic search, referral traffic, widget traffic, and the like.
  • Maintaining reporting schedules for weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and traffic analysis for internal use and Watch It partners.
  • Provide prompt and accurate responses to ad-hoc partner and client requests.
  • Some light office management.

    Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ideally, 2+ years of (post-educational) digital marketing or web analytics experience.
  • Familiarity with web analytic systems (Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture, WebTrends, etc.), and online advertising systems (Adwords, etc.).
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related web applications, such as Google Docs.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail-, deadline-, and goal-oriented.
