This film deserves far more attention than it received. Terribly clever story, well executed and well acted. Bravo, Shane Carruth!

As davidlarkin said, the set up and first third are insanely gripping as you are immersed in this world. I barely blinked. The remaining film is compelling, but there are no easy answers. This film seems to function almost exclusively on the subconscious and intuitive level. Well done.

The first third is amazing and linear which sets up the last two thirds, which is more demanding to follow, with hypnotic and unforgettable images. It is a work of supreme control and craft, just relax and enjoy while you are watching as you will not be sure what is going on at any given moment.
