Directed by Tony Gilroy. Starring Jeremy Renner, Edward Norton, Rachel Weisz, Joan Allen, and Albert Finney.
The fourth installment of the highly successful Bourne series sees the return of the franchise's screenwriter, Tony Gilroy, this time stepping into the director's seat for an entry which sidelines main character Jason Bourne in order to focus on a fellow estranged assassin (Jeremy Renner). Edward Norton and Rachel Weisz co-star, with Joan Allen and Albert Finney reprising their roles from the previous films.

Very much enjoyed this expansion on Matt Damon's former franchise. Jeremy Renner does not possess the same spark as Damon but holds his own in the lead role. Very much enjoyed Rachel Weisz in the supporting role. Liked the early scenes of Renner's Aaron Cross in the mountain cabin with Outcome #3 and wish Oscar Isaak had continued to play a more pivotal role in the movie. Liked it enough to anticipate the next installment. Hoping once Renner is fully established Damon will return (a la Vin Diesel in Fast 5) and work together on something.
Its a Bourne movie, stylish, but just a bit empty.
