A group of 1960s suburban youths start a rock band much to the chagrin of their parents in this musical drama from The Sopranos' David Chase.
"The Times, They are a Changing". David Chase of the Sopranos directs this intimate movie about the birth of rock and roll, seen through the eyes of some kids in the 60s who, inspired by the Stones, want to start a band. Few surprises but it's a sweet, funny and sometimes sad film, with a killer soundtrack, thanks to the involvement of Steven Van Zandt. The 60s and 70s were a turbulent and vital time, with history's best accompanying music. Was rock the chicken or the egg?
